Meet Our Teachers
At Austin Yoga Lounge, our instructors bring a wealth of expertise as Registered Prenatal Yoga Teachers (RPYT) and pre/postnatal fitness specialists. Many also hold complementary roles, including those of birth doulas, midwives, childbirth educators, and lactation consultants. Each instructor is deeply committed to supporting you through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Lindsey Dicello
Certified Birth Doula | E-RYT 200 | RPYT | Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist
Lindsey DiCello is a certified birth doula, yoga teacher, and pre/postnatal fitness specialist passionate about supporting people through every stage of pregnancy and postpartum. She founded Austin Yoga Lounge to create a space where expectant parents can feel seen, supported, and empowered—through movement, education, and community.
Lindsey’s yoga journey began as a teen, when she turned to the practice for its healing benefits. Over time, yoga became a powerful tool in managing anxiety and recovering from disordered eating. Her passion led her to deepen her studies in her early twenties, teaching Intuitive Yoga at Woodstock Yoga Lounge in Illinois before relocating to Austin in 2020.
She holds an E-RYT 200 certification through Woodstock Yoga Lounge, a RPYT through Arhanta Yoga Academy, and is an NASM-certified Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist. Lindsey completed her birth doula training through DONA International and brings that same compassionate, empowering support into both the classroom and the delivery room.
Lindsey teaches from a trauma-informed lens, with a focus on nervous system regulation, functional strength, and honoring the body's wisdom. Whether on the mat or at the bedside, she is deeply committed to helping students feel strong, safe, and connected throughout their journey into parenthood.

Megan Niles
NASM-CPT | NASM-CES | Pre/Postnatal Fitness Specialist | Pilates & Nutrition Coach
Megan Niles is a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist with over 20 years of experience helping people move with strength, freedom, and confidence. She specializes in pre/postnatal fitness, mobility, Pilates, and nutrition, supporting students in building sustainable strength and functional movement patterns for every stage of life and motherhood.
Certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as both a Personal Trainer (CPT) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Megan’s work focuses on core strength, joint mobility, alignment, injury prevention, and foundational movement basics such as breathing, walking, sitting, and daily posture. She also integrates intuitive eating and stress reduction into her approach, creating a truly holistic path to wellness.
Since 2004, Megan has worked with clients of all ages—from toddlers to older adults—helping each person discover greater ease, balance, and resilience in their bodies. She is passionate about guiding students to reclaim strength, reduce pain, and move with more freedom throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Sarah Evans
E-RYT 500 | Certified Wellness Specialist | Ayurvedic Educator
Sarah Evans is an experienced yoga teacher and wellness specialist who has been guiding students in yoga since 1998. She is passionate about supporting mothers and babies through yoga classes, teacher trainings, group facilitation, and Ayurvedic education, helping families embrace a natural and holistic lifestyle.
After beginning as a dedicated Hatha student, Sarah deepened her practice and became a registered yoga instructor, earning her E-RYT 500 credential through Yoga Alliance. She has been recognized in the Austin community as Best Prenatal Yoga Instructor at the Austin Birth Awards, reflecting her commitment and care for expectant and new mothers.
Sarah’s teaching weaves together the wisdom of yoga, Ayurveda, and mindful living, offering students tools for strength, balance, and connection at every stage of the motherhood journey.

Taylor Fox
RYT 200 | Certified in Restorative, Yoga Nidra & Trauma-Informed Yoga | AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor | AFPA Certified Prenatal & Postpartum Fitness Specialist
Taylor Fox is a yoga teacher and fitness professional passionate about helping students discover ease, joy, and strength within themselves. Her teaching weaves together movement, philosophy, and creative expression to support physical, mental, and emotional balance.
Taylor began practicing yoga in 2015 as a way to relieve post-work stress and quickly found it to be a source of peace and empowerment. Inspired by its transformative impact, she pursued her RYT 200 through the Austin School of Yoga in 2019. She has since expanded her training with certifications in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and pre/postnatal fitness.
In addition to her work on the mat, Taylor is an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor and an AFPA Certified Prenatal & Postpartum Fitness Specialist. She brings both expertise and empathy to her classes, offering students a safe space to connect with their bodies and inner wisdom.
Outside of teaching, Taylor is a lifelong musician, poetry lover, tea enthusiast, and proud toddler mom—with another little one on the way.

Alexandra Vaughn
Certified Pre/Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist
Alexandra Vaughn is a certified pre/postnatal corrective exercise specialist who empowers women to feel strong, confident, and supported through every stage of motherhood. She works with mothers preparing for birth, recovering postpartum, and navigating movement years into motherhood, always with a holistic and compassionate approach.
Her specialized training in diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction allows her to guide women in both preventing and healing these conditions. Alexandra’s love of movement began in the ballet studio and has since expanded into functional movement, yoga, Pilates, and barre.
Outside of the studio, Alexandra finds joy in dancing in her kitchen with her husband, two boys, and pup—bringing the same playfulness and presence she shares with her students.

Cat McGrath
Midwifery-Trained Birth Professional | Certified Birth Doula (DONA) | Certified Yoga Instructor (Sivananda)
Cat McGrath is a seasoned birth professional and yoga instructor with over 18 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her extensive work in hospitals, birth centers, and home birth settings, and is deeply committed to empowering families while honoring the sacred journey of birth.
Cat became a certified doula at 19 through DONA International and a certified yoga instructor at 20 through the International Sivananda School of Yoga, where she lived and trained in an ashram for three months and returned annually as staff for nearly a decade. Her path led her to serve as a staff doula in a hospital, where she supported labor, postpartum, and NICU families, before pursuing midwifery training in Austin.
She went on to spend 11 years at a high-volume birth center, attending more than 800 births and founding a prenatal yoga program that continues today. Later, she supported families in California as a Monitress, helping laboring women make informed choices before hospital transfers. Since returning to Austin in 2022, Cat has worked in a private home birth practice and has now attended well over 1,000 births.
Cat’s teaching is grounded in compassion, wisdom, and reverence for the birth process, offering expectant mothers both the practical tools and the soulful support needed to navigate this profound transition.

Maggie Anbalagan
RYT 500 | RPYT
Maggie Anbalagan is a yoga teacher specializing in prenatal yoga and mindful movement that supports both strength and surrender. She is passionate about creating community through breath and shared practice, while honoring the unique experience of each student’s body and journey.
Maggie began teaching yoga in 2016 and completed her 300-hour training while pregnant with her first child—an experience that deepened her understanding of how yoga can be both accessible and profoundly supportive during the transition into motherhood. She holds her RYT 500 through Practice Yoga in Austin and her prenatal yoga certification through Yoga Yoga.
Drawing from her background as a lifelong mover—runner, cyclist, and strength trainer—Maggie brings a blend of flow and alignment-based yoga to her classes. Her teaching style is approachable yet empowering, guiding students to work with purpose while always returning to the wisdom of their own inner teacher.
Maggie’s commitment is to help students find strength, presence, and true embodiment in every stage of life and motherhood.

Andrea Barton
RYT 500 | RPYT | RCYT | Certified Childbirth Educator (DTI) | Yoga Therapist in Training
Andrea Barton is a yoga teacher and childbirth educator dedicated to supporting women’s wellness through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Her classes offer comfort, grounding, and spaciousness—physically and emotionally—amidst the challenges of motherhood.
Andrea first began practicing yoga in 2000, but it was during her own pregnancies that she discovered the profound support prenatal and postnatal yoga can provide. Following the birth of her three children and a major career shift, she devoted herself fully to women’s health and perinatal care.
She holds advanced certifications as a 500-hour yoga teacher, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT), and Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT). Andrea is a certified childbirth educator through DTI and is currently completing her yoga therapist training with the YogaLife Institute. In addition, she volunteers weekly with Postpartum Support International, facilitating peer support groups and assisting families through their helpline.
Andrea’s work is rooted in compassion and community, empowering women with knowledge, movement, and support through every stage of motherhood.

Angie (she/her) is an Adaptive Yoga instructor, teacher trainer, an international retreat leader with a focus in pre and postnatal yoga, childrens, yin yoga, and vinyasa. She has been teaching pre and postnatal yoga classes since 2015 and started teaching yoga in austin in 2013. Her goal is to hold an inclusive space for her students to show up as they are and offer options that make the practice accessible for every student.
