Studio Guidelines

At Austin Yoga Lounge, everyone who walks through our doors is pregnant or navigating postpartum.Because these stages of life are naturally time-limited and our classes are intentionally small, our policies are designed to balance flexibility with fairness while ensuring space is available for those who need it. The guidelines below help us support this unique community while maintaining a consistent experience for everyone.

Cancellation & Attendance Policy

Class Cancellations

Austin Yoga Lounge operates with limited class sizes. Timely cancellations allow other students the opportunity to attend.

All cancellations must be completed through your Momence account.

Class Packs

  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to class start time

    • Late cancellations (within 12 hours) incur a $10 fee

    • The class credit will be returned for future use

  • No-shows incur a $35 fee

    • Class credit will be returned for future use

Unlimited Monthly Membership

  • Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours prior to class start time

  • Late cancellations (within 6 hours) incur a $10 fee

  • No-shows incur a $35 fee

New student Trial

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to class start time

  • Late cancellations (within 12 hours) incur a $10 fee

  • No-shows incur a $35 fee

Late cancellation and no-show fees are automatically charged to the payment method on file. All cancellation and no-show policies are applied consistently to all students.

Community Events & Donation-Based Offerings

  • Donations are non-refundable

  • Cancellations within 12 hours result in forfeiture of the donation

  • No-shows result in forfeiture of the donation

  • Cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance will receive the donated amount as studio credit

Studio Terms & Conditions

Class Pack Terms

• Non-refundable and non-transferable
• Expire 3 months from purchase date

Class packs are structured to encourage regular attendance during pregnancy and early postpartum, which are naturally time-limited seasons of life.

Because pregnancy and birth timing can vary, students are encouraged to purchase class packs and memberships in alignment with their due date and anticipated availability. Classes, memberships, and trials cannot be refunded due to early delivery or changes in birth timing.

If birth occurs before a class pack expires, remaining credits may be used within 6 months of baby’s birth date.

No extensions are provided for travel, illness, or scheduling conflicts. Medical bedrest with documentation may qualify for review.

Unlimited Monthly Membership Terms

  • Month-to-month with no minimum commitment

  • Auto-renews monthly using the payment method on file

  • Cancellation may be submitted through Momence or by emailing hello@austinyogalounge.com

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle

  • Membership fees are non-refundable and will not be prorated

  • Memberships may not be paused or suspended. Please review this carefully before enrolling to ensure it aligns with your schedule and season.

New student Trial

  • Activates at first class attended

  • Limit one class per day

  • Valid for weekly classes only (workshops, events, and series not included)

  • Non-refundable and non-transferable

  • The New Student Trial expires 10 days after activation.

  • Extensions, pauses, or transfers are not provided for missed classes, travel, illness, or scheduling conflicts.

Community Events & Donation-Based Offerings

Workshop & Events

  • All workshops and events are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • No credits or refunds will be issued for missed events, no-shows, or scheduling conflicts.

  • If labor begins at or after 36 weeks (considered full term), workshop fees are non-refundable.

  • If you go into premature labor (before 36 weeks), you may receive 50% credit toward a future offering.

Gift Certificates

  • All gift certificates must be redeemed within six (6) months of the purchase date.

  • Gift certificates are valid for the specific service or class pack purchased (e.g., 3-Class Pack, Workshop, or Private Session). Once redeemed, the standard expiration policy for that service applies.

    • For example, if a 3-Class Pack is redeemed, the recipient will have three (3) months from the date of activation to use the classes.

    • Gift certificates are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash or credit. Expired certificates cannot be extended or reissued.

We understand that life during pregnancy and postpartum can be unpredictable. At the same time, our studio operates with limited capacity, and each reserved spot matters.

These policies exist to:

  • Honor the time and care of our teachers

  • Keep classes accessible for other students

  • Support the sustainability of a small, community-based studio

Because everyone in our space is pregnant or postpartum, we’re unable to make exceptions based on these circumstances. This consistency allows us to care for the community as a whole. By booking a class through the studio, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

Policies may be updated periodically to support the evolving needs of our studio community.
