Maybe you've been quietly Googling "home birth Austin" at 2 am. Maybe someone mentioned it and you realized you had more questions than you expected. Or maybe you're just curious and want to hear what it actually looks like from someone who's done it hundreds of times.
This is a relaxed, no-pressure Q&A with Monika Stone, a licensed and certified midwife here in Austin. Monika will walk through what midwifery care looks like, how home birth works, and the questions she hears most often from people exploring this option for the first time. Then we open it up to you. Ask anything, big or small, in a space where no question is too basic.
This isn't about convincing you of anything. It's about giving you the information to make whatever decision feels right for you. Whether you're actively considering a home birth, early in your pregnancy and exploring options, or trying to conceive and thinking ahead, you're welcome here.
