Movement and Melodies with Monique

  • Austin Yoga Lounge 1008 West Avenue Austin, Texas, 78701 United States (map)

Ages 0 to 5, one caregiver per child

Little ones are wired for music. Come sing, sway, clap, and play together in a cozy afternoon of music and movement led by Monique, a professional singer and AYL teacher. We’ll move through songs, simple rhythms, and playful movement made for little bodies, with plenty of room for wiggles, wandering, and happy noise. Babies can soak it in from your lap while toddlers and preschoolers dance it out.

What to expect

Monique brings a voice made for the stage and a gentle, playful way with little ones. Expect familiar songs and a few new favorites, clapping and stomping games, bouncing and swaying, and simple rhythm play that invites every age to join in their own way. There’s no right way to participate here. Some kids sing every word, some watch wide-eyed from a lap, and some wander the room the whole time. All of it counts.

Caregivers are part of the fun, too. You’ll sing, move, and play alongside your child, and leave with a few songs to bring home for bath time, car rides, and slow afternoons.

Who it’s for

Movement and Melodies is made for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers from birth to age 5, each with one caregiver. Parents, grandparents, and nannies are all welcome. Siblings within the age range need their own spot.
