Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a class, membership, workshop, or event ticket at Austin Yoga Lounge, LLC (“AYL”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

As a student, I agree to:

Reserve my spot ahead of time, since class sizes are limited
Arrive on time so class can begin without interruption
Cancel any reservation I can’t keep through my Momence account so another student can take my place

For the safety and courtesy of everyone in the room, teachers reserve the right to lock the studio doors 15 minutes after class begins. Students who arrive after the doors are locked will not be able to join that class and will be marked as a no-show, and the no-show policy applies.

Class Packs

Cancellation & No-Show

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to class start time.
Late cancellations (within 12 hours) incur a $10 fee. The class credit is returned for future use.
No-shows incur a $35 fee, and the class credit is returned.

Pack Terms

Non-refundable and non-transferable.
Class Packs expire 3 months from purchase date, unless otherwise stated at time of purchase.
If birth occurs before expiration, remaining credits may be used within 6 months of the baby’s date of birth. To activate this extension, email hello@austinyogalounge.com with your baby’s date of birth; the extension is not applied automatically.
No extensions for travel, illness, or scheduling conflicts, except medical bedrest with documentation.
Single class (drop-in) purchases expire four weeks from the date of purchase.

Monthly Memberships

Cancellation & No-Show

Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours prior to class start time.
Late cancellations (within 6 hours) incur a $10 fee.
No-shows incur a $35 fee.

Membership Terms

2-month commitment, then month to month. During the initial 2-month commitment, fees remain due for both months; a cancellation submitted during this period takes effect at the end of the commitment (the end of the second billing cycle).
Auto-renews monthly using the payment method on file.
AYL may adjust membership rates. You will be notified at least 30 days before a rate change takes effect on your next billing cycle, and you may cancel before then if you do not wish to continue at the new rate.
Cancellation may be submitted through Momence or by emailing hello@austinyogalounge.com.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Membership fees are non-refundable, non-transferable and will not be prorated. Unused classes do not roll over.
Monthly memberships may not be paused or suspended for any reason, including travel, scheduling conflicts, or illness.

Community Events & Donation-Based Offerings

Donations are non-refundable and expire within three months of purchase.
Cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance will receive the donated amount as studio credit in your Momence account for future use. This studio credit expires three months from the date it is issued.
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the event start time result in forfeiture of the donation.
No-shows result in forfeiture of the donation.
Donations reserve your space and support the sustainability of community offerings.

Workshops & Special Events

Workshops and special events are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds or credits are issued for cancellations, scheduling conflicts, missed events, or no-shows.

Birth-Related Exceptions

Onset of labor at or after 36 weeks: no refund or credit.
Premature labor before 36 weeks: 50% studio credit toward a future offering.

If the Studio Cancels a Workshop

Workshops with fewer than three sign-ups are subject to cancellation. If the studio cancels, the workshop will be rescheduled to a new date.
Students who are unable to attend the rescheduled date will receive studio credit toward a future offering.

Special & Limited-Time Memberships

From time to time, Austin Yoga Lounge offers special or limited-time memberships (such as the Fourth Trimester membership, or new student trial). These offerings are governed by their own separate agreement, which you sign at the time of purchase. Where that agreement differs from these Terms & Conditions, the terms of that agreement apply.

Gift Certificates

Must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase date.
Once redeemed, the standard expiration policy for that service applies (for example, a class pack would expire 3 months from activation).
Non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash or credit.
Expired certificates cannot be extended or reissued.

Discount Codes & Promotions

Only one discount code may be applied per purchase. Codes cannot be combined with other offers or promotions, including special packages, series, or already-discounted pricing.
Codes must be applied at the time of purchase and cannot be added retroactively to a completed transaction.
Discount codes do not apply to gift certificates or donation-based events.
Discount codes are non-transferable, hold no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. They are valid only for the offering and time period stated, and expire on the date indicated.
AYL reserves the right to modify or discontinue any promotion at any time.

Fees & Payment

Late cancellation and no-show fees are automatically charged to the payment method on file. All cancellation and no-show policies are applied consistently to all students to ensure fairness and sustainability. If the payment method on file is declined, the studio will freeze the membership or retain a class credit until the payment is resolved. You remain responsible for any fees owed, and repeated failed payments may result in suspension of your account until the balance is resolved.

Class Schedule, Substitutions & Studio Changes

AYL may modify its class schedule, substitute instructors, or cancel or reschedule regularly scheduled classes (for example, for low enrollment, instructor availability, weather, or holidays). If AYL cancels a regularly scheduled class, any class credit used to reserve it will be returned to your account.

Changes to These Terms

AYL may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will be posted with its effective date, and material changes will be communicated through the studio’s usual channels (such as email or your Momence account). By continuing to purchase or attend classes after an update takes effect, you agree to the revised Terms.

Personal Belongings & Media

AYL is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to the studio or left in vehicles. By participating, you grant AYL permission to use your image, voice, or likeness in marketing or promotional materials, unless you notify the studio in writing beforehand.

Studio Commitment

By purchasing an offering from Austin Yoga Lounge, you are supporting a locally owned, woman-led studio serving the prenatal and postpartum community. Because every student here is navigating change, policies are applied consistently and without exception to ensure fairness, protect limited capacity, and maintain a sustainable studio environment.

These Terms & Conditions are the controlling agreement between you and AYL, and this page always reflects our current policies. Where these Terms differ from any prior policy, confirmation email, or verbal statement, these Terms govern, except that any separately signed agreement for a specific offering (such as a limited-time membership) and the Waiver & Release of Liability continue to control where they apply.
