Prenatal & Postpartum Participation

I affirm that I have received appropriate medical clearance to participate. I understand that AYL offerings are wellness-based and are not a substitute for medical care. I agree to modify, rest, or stop participation at any time as needed.

Participant Responsibilities

I agree to:

• Disclose relevant health conditions or limitations prior to participation.
• Monitor my physical and emotional well-being during class.
• Stop any activity that feels unsafe.

It is my ongoing responsibility to inform AYL of any new injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions.

Late Cancellation & No-Show Fees

I understand that AYL charges fees for late cancellations and no-shows, and that the applicable cancellation windows and fee amounts are set out in AYL's Terms & Conditions. I authorize AYL to charge these fees automatically to the payment method I have on file. I understand that it is my responsibility to cancel through my Momence account within the applicable window.

Hands-On Adjustments

Some AYL teachers offer optional hands-on adjustments or physical assists to support alignment, comfort, and safety. Not all teachers offer them, and a teacher will always ask for my consent before providing any hands-on assist. I understand that adjustments are always optional and that I may decline at any time and for any reason. By participating in class, I accept responsibility for communicating my preferences to the teacher.

Photo & Media Release

Unless I notify AYL in writing prior to participation, I grant permission for my image, voice, or likeness to be used in marketing, educational, or promotional materials in any format. I waive the right to inspect or approve final materials and release AYL from associated liability.

Security & Video Monitoring

For the safety and security of students and staff, AYL may use video surveillance in common areas of the studio, such as entrances, the lobby, hallways, and exterior spaces. Cameras are not placed in the yoga room, changing areas, or restrooms. By entering the premises, I consent to being recorded in these common areas and understand that footage may be used for security, safety, and liability purposes.

Health & Illness

I agree not to attend in-person activities if I am feeling unwell or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 5 days. I understand that group settings carry inherent health risks and accept those risks.

Childcare

If I use childcare services offered by AYL, I do so voluntarily and on behalf of my child. I acknowledge that childcare, and the use of AYL’s facilities and equipment by my child, involves inherent risks, including physical injury or illness. I assume all such risks on behalf of myself and my child, and I release, and agree not to bring claims against, AYL and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates for any injury, loss, or damage to my child, including claims arising from negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I confirm that my child is in good health and able to participate, and I agree to disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs before leaving my child in AYL’s care. I authorize AYL to seek emergency medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached, and I accept responsibility for any resulting costs. I agree to remain on the premises during childcare unless AYL states otherwise, and to pick up my child promptly at the end of my class or session.

Terms & Conditions

By purchasing or reserving a class, class pack, membership, workshop, event ticket, or donation-based offering, I agree to AYL’s cancellation, no-show, refund, and membership policies. AYL’s full Terms & Conditions, including birth-related exceptions, are available for my review and are incorporated into this agreement by reference, and I understand that memberships are governed by a separate membership agreement whose terms I agree to when I enroll.

Studio Commitment

By purchasing an offering from Austin Yoga Lounge, you are supporting a locally owned, woman-led business serving the prenatal and postpartum community. Because every student in this space is navigating change, our policies are designed to be applied consistently and fairly to all. There are no special exceptions based on pregnancy or postpartum status. As a small studio with limited class sizes, timely cancellations are essential to allow other students the opportunity to attend. Class registrations and cancellations are managed through your Momence account.

Right to Refuse or Remove

AYL reserves the right to refuse service to, or remove from the premises, any person whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, or who violates studio policies. No refund or credit will be issued in these circumstances.

General Terms

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to this agreement or my participation will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

I agree that signing, clicking, checking a box, or otherwise electronically accepting this agreement has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and that this agreement may be maintained and enforced in electronic form.
